I have been building miniatures like crazy!!! today I want to show you my Primaris Lieutenant from the Agastus box set for Warhammer 40K.
The Agastus Box Set
I bought this box recently when I saw it in a Friendly Local Gaming Store near me. My aim was to build up my Primaris Space Marine army while getting a bit of a budget on some miniatures. Unfortunately, most of the miniatures in this box set are not yet available individually, but that should come in time.
This box set is no longer sold on the GW website, but you can still find it at some retail stores. In fact, that is how I got this kit.
Inside there are 5 Heavy Intercessors, 10 Desolation Marines, a Brutalis Dreadnought and a Lieutenant.
You may remember this box set from my returning to 40K article and my Brutalis Dreadnought Review Video.
The Primaris Lieutenant from Strike Force Agastus
I believe that this miniature is currently unique to this box set, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he becomes available individually in the near future too.
What is nice about this figure is that it comes with plenty of options. You can arm him with a Master Crafted Bolt Rifle, a Master Crafted Power Weapon, a Power Fist, a Bolt Pistol, a Heavy Pistol, a Plasma Pistol or a pointing finger.
I like the bionic arm holding the plasma pistol. This Marine has obviously learned some harsh lessons.
It’s a nice looking model all around. I chose to arm him with the Power Fist and Plasma Pistol.
In addition to the weapon options, there are two different skirts you can put on the mini (I chose to do the one with skulls along the bottom) and two head options.
I considered magnetizing this mini to take advantage of all of the options, but chose to glue the pieces together with plastic cement instead.
Wrapping it up…
Overall, the Primaris Lieutenant from the Agastus Box set is really nice. I like that it comes with all the options aside from one for the Lieutenant build. For now, he will be leading a squad of Assault Intercessors, but he could easily lead a Hellblaster squad too because I armed him with a Plasma Pistol.
If the miniature becomes available individually, I would recommend it to people to build out their Space Marine armies. If you can find the Agastus box set, this miniature is one currently unique to that box and it is a nice to have figure.
You can always check the Games Workshop Website to see what they have in stock.
Thanks for reading.
Until next time, Happy Gaming Everyone!!!
