A while back, my friend Dave painted my collection of Dutch Blood & Plunder miniatures. This Enter Ploeg unit was in that batch. Welcome to today’s miniature showcase where we take a quick look at some Blood & Plunder Enter Ploeg miniatures as painted by Dave Lamers.
These minis came as a part of my Blood & Plunder Dutch Nationality Starter Set that I bought during the “No Peace Beyond the Line” Kickstarter campaign.
You can also get them as individual units through Firelock Games and through retailers like Amazon. If you are lucky, maybe you can even get them at your FLGS.
With that out of the way, let’s take a closer look at the unit.
The Enter Ploeg
The Enter Ploeg are basically the storm troopers of the Dutch factions. They are a veteran troop type fantastic at melee combat and they act as boarding parties onto enemy ships.
They bring along pistols, boarding axes, grenadoes (grenades) and a blunderbuss to help them take over other people’s vessels.
Now, let’s take a closer look at the painted Enter Ploeg miniatures.
The Painted Miniatures
I can hear it already. Dave is going to be griping to me about zooming in too close on his models. He paints to a good tabletop standard and they look fantastic from a table distance away. That said, I think they look good up close too.
Sorry Dave, we are going in and taking a closer look at these Dutch Blood & Plunder minis.
