It is hard to believe that yet another year has passed. Today I want to wish everyone Merry Christmas and a happy Holiday Season from Must Contain Minis.
Oddly enough, I find myself not really craving anything specifically miniatures related. In years past, I wanted an Air Brush or the [amazon_textlink asin=’B08173N5D5′ text=’newest GW starter box’ template=’ProductLink’ store=’mustcontainmi-20′ marketplace=’US’ link_id=’da61d829-3617-46df-a738-40ea9fd5b18a’], but, this year, I find myself just wanting more time. I want more time to work on Must Contain Minis. More time to work on Bell of Lost Souls and more time to paint up the backlog of miniatures sitting on my desk. I also want more time to spend with friends and playing games at home and at various locations including Forbes Hobbies, Phoenix Games and with the Hamilton Tabletop Gaming Society. Forbes Hobbies I especially miss, and they have a few commission pieces for me that I can’t wait to see.
Some of that time though, I can get back simply by better managing how I spend my time and prioritizing what makes me happy.
Coming Back from a Short Break
This year has been extremely stressful for me, but, lately, things turned around for the better.
In the meantime though, I had been retreating into a world of video games on my iOS. Specifically games by the Trese Brothers. They are small and independent company that makes really fun games. I especially recommend their Templar Battleforce game (for Sci-Fi Miniatures fans) and Star Traders: Fronters (for people that want a rich RPG type game with lots of customization). The Trese Brothers also have a new upcoming game that looks interesting called Cyber Knights.
That said, the games can be highly addictive. With level progression, the vast amounts of customization, and a somewhat sandbox type of feel, it is easy to spend a lot of time on these games.
For now, though, I got my fill of these games and plan to come back to creating more time for MCM, BoLS and my Miniatures Hobby. As such, I plan to be posting to this site again more often. I think you may have noticed a small dip in the number of posts lately.
A cool item to note to make is that I have four Battle Reports in the works and enough ideas to keep me busy with Must Contain Minis for years to come.
A Christmas Wish for You
To wrap up this post, I want to quickly wish you all the best for this Holiday Season. Whether you celebrate Christmas, or just enjoy time off from work, I hope that you are doing whatever makes you happiest.
Until next time, Happy Gaming Everyone!!!
Merry Christmas to you too, it’s been a pleasure reading your posts!
Thank you. You also have a great blog. 🙂
Merry Christmas!
