A while ago I had somebody make up a new logo for Must Contain Minis. The logo is pictured above and I am quite happy with the result.

I will also update my Facebook, Twitter or Instagram Accounts, to match the new branding. These updates include a new Avatar, a new Logo and a new Watermark for all work going forward.

Why this Avatar?

Those that know their soldiers and weapons should recognize the new Avatar as a WW2 American Soldier with a Tommy Gun.

Why an American WW2 Soldier? The reason for the American Soldier is because he should be fairly recognizable. He is tossing a grenade and carrying a Thompson gun. Also, most of my readers happen to be American.

On top of the fact that the new avatar is recognizable, I also like that he looks like a toy soldier – the type that all of us played with as kids. Let’s face it, in the end, this is a site about playing games with Toy Soldiers and I think this image conveys that thought quickly.

I thought about going with silhouette of my previous mascots as the new avatar. None of those silhouettes worked well so going with something new just made sense.

Watermark

On top of the new Logo and Avatar, I also have a new Watermark for my photos. I think I am going to go with the one below in all of my photos going forward.

This image is certainly prettier than my original Watermark
