Happy Canada Day Weekend!!!

Hi Everyone,

July 1st is Canada Day and here in Canada many of us get Monday off as a holiday to celebrate! I am fortunate enough to be included in those that get Monday off and could not be happier.

So, I hear you asking, “how did you celebrate the Canada Day Long Weekend?” Well, I have been busy. As some of my readers will know, we bought a new house and are busy prepping for the move. This means that I spent my time packing. I am also taking a Network+ course through distance studies so I hope to spend the majority of my Monday reading through a text book.

While it can be disruptive to the hobby to be taking a course and moving at the same time, I can’t tell you how excited I am for the new place. It is going to be great. In the short-term though, it impacts my writing and it certainly impacts my ability to get out in the public. For now, I would like to thank my gaming friends for being patient. It has been a while since I have got out to game regularly. Hopefully I can change that in a few months.

For those interested, I wrote an article this weekend for Bell of Lost Souls about Dracula’s America.  The article is similar to the one on Must Contain Minis from earlier this week, but it is also different as it focuses in more on the system in general rather than the most recent expansion – Forbidden Power.

In the works, I have a few shorter posts with a few pictures from SkyCon, a Review of an Osprey Game, and some much longer posts to write from Broadsword. I am also expecting to get the low-down on some really exciting information from a gaming company that I will keep under my hat for now. Sadly, I have to get back to work, but more content is still to come!!!

For my Canadian readers, how did you spend the Long Weekend? Please leave a comment to answer that question.

Until next time, Happy Gaming Everyone!!!
