In this post, we take a look at the miniatures in the board game Sword & Sorcery by Ares Games, as painted by Ullr’s Table. These minis are from the Kickstarter version of the game, but we will start by displaying some of the minis in the Retail Version and work our way quickly to the Kickstarter exclusives.
We have already looked at a really cool mini from Sword & Sorcery on Must Contain Minis in the post about the miniature of Vastaryous as painted by Ullr’s Table. Our Dungeons and Dragons friends referred to that mini as Tiamat. To be honest, I could envision people dual purposing these miniatures easily for Sword & Sorcery as well as Fantasy RPGs (like Dungeons and Dragons).
Now let’s check out the minis from the Sword & Sorcery Board Game.
We will start with the Dwarf. I am a big fan of Dwarfs in general and this is one of the hero characters from the core game. Looks pretty cool to me! |
Another one of the heroes. |
This chained beast is the Troll Master Enemy from the core box. He looks absolutely ferocious to me! |
The Retail Version comes with plenty of more miniatures, but we are just showing a sampling of the miniatures. The miniatures below do not come in the retail version of the game.
Now, let’s check out these Kickstarter exclusives!!!
Looks like Balrog to me, but this is the Hellspawn Master Enemy. |
The Undead Lord Master Enemy. He would make an awesome enemy in any game! Anyone up for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder or some Frostgrave. 😉 |
Some Werewolves. |
Nightwalkers. |
The Efreet. |
Drakonian Figures. I love these guys!!! Reminds me of when I used to play DragonLance back in the day. 🙂 |
Demonologists. If I were to use them in any other game, they would make some great generic Wizards. |
Succubus Group. |
Some Death Knights. |
Skeletons. |
Count Dalv. |
Warlord Hero |
The Dragon Flame Hero. |
Hopefully everyone enjoyed this quick, painted miniatures, showcase.
Special thanks goes out to Robert Morris of Ullr’s Table for painting these miniatures and for allowing Must Contain Minis to share his excellent work. There are some really cool looking 32mm miniatures in this game, Sword and Sorcery by Ares Games.
Until Next time, Happy Gaming Everyone!!!

Nice work. I came to check out the succubi, but enjoyed all of them. The S&S minis are such good quality, they really make me want to paint them.
Thanks Henri! Happy that you liked the post.
