Modern Day Minis With White Dragon Miniatures

White Dragon Miniatures is a company that I never heard of until a few months ago. At that time, a good friend of mine told me to check out their Facebook Page.

I headed over to the White Dragon Miniatures Facebook Page and discovered a company that makes 28mm (and 20mm) miniatures for modern day conflicts. If you are after current day figures for your miniatures games, take a look at this company. You won’t be disappointed.

Clear and Crisp Miniatures – Images and Videos of the Figures

From not knowing about the company at all to receiving a small reviewer sample pack, I got a quick education on their offerings. Today, I am going to share with you those findings.

For a really fantastic view of all the miniatures, and the complete story, check out the video I made of them below. If that video does not work, you can use this link.

A video look at figures by White Dragon Miniatures. They make 20mm and 28mm modern day conflict miniatures.

For those that prefer images to video, below are a couple of pictures of the minis.

Unfortunately, these minis did not come with base, but I have lots of bases by Six Squared Studios, so I just used those. Looking at the site, it does look like they ship bases with certain minis, so you will have to check it out before your purchase.

The details of the figures are clean and crisp. I found some 3D printer supports on the model, but they look like they would be easy enough to clear off. I gave these figures to the friend who told me about them. Hopefully he will put some paint on them for a future post.

In the image above, you may notice that not all of them are the same size. Two of them are scaled at 20mm while the other four are in 28mm. How do they measure up against Games Workshop figures? Let me show you.

Overall, the minis fit in pretty good for 28mm. They are slightly less heroic than some other companies, which is okay.

Wrapping it up…

If you haven’t checked out White Dragon Miniatures, give them a look for your 20mm and 28mm modern gaming needs.

My sample kit contained no bases, but it looks like they give away bases with their 28mm miniatures. You will have to check for any individual product that you are buying from them to make sure they come with bases. For me, no bases is no big deal. I have plenty that I bought from Six Squared Studios.
