Moving Week – Must Contain Minis

Must Contain Minis is moving! No, the website is not moving to a new web address, we are moving to a new house!

As some of you know, my studio has been in boxes for about two months now. I really miss taking pictures and building models. Heck, I even miss painting models and getting out to the stores in my area with my own armies.

Soon, I will be settling into a new house and I can’t wait! I am so excited about this move. For those wondering, this is a good move.

To further complicate things, I am also finishing up an online course (CompTIA Network+ offered by my local college). That should be done in three weeks and has been a handy course in enhancing my knowledge about computer Networks.

Effect on the Site

In the short term, it means I may not have many updates to the site for the next two to three weeks. That said, there is still tons of great content in the archives of this site that you can go through. If you haven’t already, I hope that you take a look through my older stories and see if you can find something that interests you.

If I find the time, I will post here and there on a “best effort” basis. It won’t follow a schedule or aim for the two to three times a week I aimed for earlier.

That said, this is a temporary disruption. Things should return to normal shortly after the move and course.

In the long term, the house will offer me bigger areas for hobby work and photography – which is something that I am really excited about. It will hopefully also provide me with a better gaming space for future Battle Reports and Product Showcases.

Overall, this is good news!

Future Plans

After I complete my course and settle into my new house, I plan to take Must Contain Minis through a re-branding exercise. This re-branding is not to do with the name or address of the site, but rather to do with the imagery such as the Logo, Avatar, and Watermarks of the website.

After the re-branding, I plan to move into YouTube. These videos, to start, will likely be subtitled still images with me speaking over them. If there are specific posts that you would like to see transformed into “videos” let me know in the comments section where you want me to start. I am thinking of starting with my Battle Reports and my hope is that the videos will introduce more people to my work. Again, let me know in the comments section if there are specific videos that you would like to see, and I plan to start with still image videos with audio.

Although I plan to move into YouTube, the primary focus of Must Contain Minis will remain our written Reviews, Showcases and Battle Reports.

Me Playing Bolt Action
After the move, I can’t wait to get back into the community and playing some games!

Until next time, Happy Gaming Everyone!!!
